The Exorcist is one of my favourite films. Not favourite horror films specifically… just one of my favorite films ever. Brilliantly written and directed. Wonderful acting and it still has the power to scare 50 years since its release back in 1973. The Exorcist is a fantastic piece of filmmaking.

Now comes a new sequel. A sequel that ignores any and everything after the first film to begin a new timeline of events and telling a new story. And this is my review after recently watching The Exorcist: Believer.

It’s utter fucking shit.

That’s it, that’s my entire review. If the filmmakers couldn’t be bothered to put any effort into making a good film, I’m not going to bother putting any effort into reviewing it. This is supposed to be the start of a new trilogy too…
